Cyprus property sales data for 2020 and 2021

12.04.2021

The Department of Land Resources and Land Management of Cyprus has not yet published data on sales of overseas property in March, however, based on the indicators for April, one can conclude that sales of up to 53% to the citizens of the European Union have grown. Sales to non-EU residents, on the other hand, fell to 14% versus March last year. Presumably, part of the crash fell on British citizens who wanted to buy vacation property, since after Brexit, money for the purchase must come from foreign countries, and borrowing money from banks in Cyprus is no longer possible.
